It is that time of year again and what better time to start our blog than Oysterfest?!

What’s Oysterfest you ask?

Why, it is a festival  in Fulton, Texas for you oyster loving folks out there looking for any excuse to stuff yourself with these bites of deliciousness from the sea. And to be honest, Oysterfest isn’t just for oyster lovers. Guests will enjoy great food, a parade, carnival and of course oyster eating and shucking contests. This year will mark the 32nd Oysterfest which is sponsored by the Fulton Volunteer Fire Department.Oysterfest is the first week , March 3rd – 6th  at the Fulton Navigation Park.  Visit the official Oysterfest website for event times and happenings here: www.fultonoysterfest.org

STAY at The Fulton Beach Bungalows…

and walk or ride a bike down Fulton Beach road (it’s about 1/2 mi – down the road and the view of the water is beautiful along the way) to Oysterfest PLUS check out the OYSTER DINNER SPECIAL we created for our guests.  Of course we are a little biased but there really is no better place to stay in Fulton Beach, Texas than the bungalows. You’ll get your own bungalow with a full sized kitchen, screened porch and backyard for grilling. We restored these bungalows to honor their true vintage charm. We know you’ll love them and you will love the view! We are right on the water. Many  places say it but just to prove it, we created an album on our Facebook page of pictures taken of the view we drink coffee to every morning.

Visit our website for rates, reservations and more details on the bungalows.

We’d love to have you! If you do head over to our Facebook page, be sure and ‘Like’ us and share any pictures you take while down here.
